Survey: People Have Trouble Controlling Gambling Urges

A U.S. gambing survey found five million people have trouble controlling their urge to bet, and 15 million are at risk. The industry immediately attacked the survey by a federal commission studying the problem, but pointed out the social cost is well below that of alcoholism or mental illness.
